Curriculum Night Re-Scheduled

At the grade 9 level all of the English stream classes exceeded the cap of 31 students per class.  As a result, an appeal was made by the school and the school district released an additional teaching unit to the school.  This unit allows us to create another grade 9 English stream class.

As a result, it is necessary to re-group the grade 9 English stream students and re-schedule all classes for this new class.  This will be done in the next few days and all students should receive a new timetable on Monday.

Rather than hold the Curriculum night as scheduled on Thursday, September 22 with the current classes and teachers, it has been re-scheduled to Wednesday, September 28 so that parents can meet with the appropriate staff.  Should you have questions or concerns please feel free to contact the school.

We look forward to meeting with you on September 28

Thank you
FRJH

Good day, I apologize for the lack of information available on our school website. We have been experiencing technical difficulties that are yet to be rectified.

Welcome to the 2016-17 school year. School starts on Wednesday, September 7. Doors will open at 7:55 am. It is a full day for students. Grade 7 students are asked to go directly to the gym upon their arrival at school. Grade 8 and 9 students are to proceed to their homerooms - the lists will be posted outside the classroom doors. School dismisses at 2:15 pm.

Cafeteria service will not begin until Monday, September 12 so students will need to bring snacks and lunch with them. Bus routes can be found with the pickup times on the district website. I am looking forward to a great school year.

Gail Butler
Principal
