Parent School Climate Survey
The Department of Education invites you to play an important role in your child’s education. By completing The School Climate Survey, you are giving your school, your school district, and the provincial government information on your thoughts and feelings regarding your child’s school and your child’s school life. This information will help to gauge the quality of education you believe your child is receiving and where improvements, if any, need to be made.
The parent/guardian survey, on average, should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. Responses are confidential and your name will not be linked to your results. All reporting will be done on a school, district, or province level. Individual responses will not be presented. Results will not be released in cases where school demographics may lead to the ability to identify respondents (less than 6 respondents).
The School Climate Survey is an opportunity to provide your voice to the future of education in your child’s school, community, and province.
You can access the survey online by clicking here
Please complete the survey by Friday, March 27th, 2015.
Thank you for your continued support.

Student of the Month Launch
As a new component to our Safe and Caring School Development goal, it is hoped that this initiative will to raise awareness of our Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) program as students who demonstrate Respect for Learning, Respect for the Environment, Respect for Others and Respect for Self are recognized. Last month saw the launch of the Student of the Month program with the December theme of Caring. Students and staff nominated students and from those nominations, one student was selected from each homeroom. These students are highlighted in a bulletin board display located on the main floor. Please note that parents are also welcome to contact the school to nominate a particular student.
January’s theme is: Nutrition/Health Choices.

Male staff members at Frank Roberts Jr. High have banded
together to participate in the global movement Movember – a
unique initiative whereby men through the growing of a
moustache during the month of November raise funds and
awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer. Mo
Bros, as they are internationally referred, effectively
become walking, talking billboards for the 30 days of
November. Through their actions and words, they raise
awareness by prompting private and public conversation
around the often ignored issue of men’s health.
If you would like to support this very worthy cause please check out our team Franks Fuzzy Ravens. Thank you for your support.
